Software Architect J2EE

Your responsibilities: As a Software Architect you will contribute to the SW specification and architecture, design, development, validation and maintenance of complex fleet management systems. As such you are responsible for the quality of the product and translation of customer requirements into product architecture. You will have an architectural and technical driving role and report to the Project Manager.

Your tasks:

Define SW specification, architecture and SW design of the system;
• Work according structured product development processes including product quality assurance activities;
• Define SW test approach, test plans and specifications for manual and automated testing;
• Determine work breakdown, estimate the effort and duration of all SW activities and identify risks;
• Coach the SW team regarding all development activities;
• Keep track of technological and methodical developments in the SW engineering area and advice senior management.
  

Your personal profile:

• You have a BSc. or MSc. degree in Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent;
• You have thorough experience with OO and model based design methods and can coach teammembers accordingly;
• You have hands-on experience in applying quality procedures in a professional product development environment;
• You are a team-player, have excellent communication skills and can convince teammembers based on your expertise;
• You have abstraction power, you are pro-active and you can balance between quality and pragmatism;
• You have excellent knowledge of the German and English language (oral and written);
• You like to take responsibility;
• You have at least 4 years of relevant experience in a the mentioned application and technology areas.
